"Where I Come From" Circle Journal Layout

There were a lot of different directions I could have gone with this journal's topic. I could have picked places I've grown up. I could have gone back to my great-great grandparents in Poland and done a layout on that. But I wanted to get to the heart of the matter--my parents. It's odd that this topic stemmed from a country music song by Kenny Chesney of the same name, because my inspiration came from a country song by Brad Paisley called "All Because Two People Fell In Love." I adore this song and share the lyrics with you, in hopes it will take you to a place tha humbles you and helps you meditate on why we're all here.

::A baby's born in the middle of the night in a local delivery room
They grab his feet smack him till cries he goes home the next afternoon

Circle Journal Layout "Hold Dear"

This is my latest LO for the journal "Hold Dear". I literally did it in 30 minutes and feel pretty good about it. Because I was under such a time crunch, I didn't over-analyze what I was going to do. I just did it. The journaling is something I saw in a scrapping book I got. I quickly drew lines on a small piece of paper NOT CARING IF THEY WERE STRAIGHT and just wrote on them. Voila! Something so simple but hard for my OCD brain to do. I'm learning! (smile)

These are most of my layouts from our circle journal. The scrappy ladies were kind enough to take pictures of my pages for me since I am without a camera. Thought I'd show 'em off since I'm not afraid anymore:-) Yeah!

I am doing this generic post since I have major stuff going on that I can't talk about. Some of it makes me smile and some of it has reduced me to tears too many times to mention this past week. So let's revel in my creative genius, shall we?
