As you well know, things have been a bit rough at the ol' homestead as of late. I am unable to discuss further details as we now have a lawyer, but once I AM able to blurt out the mess that is rapidly unfurling you better believe I will.
I CAN tell you though that Theo is being a champ. This kid is going with the flow and is completely un-phased with our current nomad lifestyle. And no matter how stressed Bryan and I are, knowing that Theo is easy like Sunday morning takes a huge weight off our shoulders. That kid continues to astound me. The best compliment he's been given to date has been from Bryan's brother John. He looked at Theo one day a few months ago and said, "He is seriously the most easy-going kid I've ever seen." Considering The Colic in the early days, and my penchant for anxiety and stress, hearing that warmed my heart. And in situations like the one we're in now, it's a huge blessing.
Since I'm NOT like my son in the water-off-a-duck's-back department and I don't drink or smoke, I've turned to Twitter to keep me sane. I have a list of favorite tweets that make me bray with laughter at my desk (yes, people do stare but I'm used to it now) that I call upon when times get tough. I'm going to take an idea from Jen and share my treasure trove of hilarity. You will thank me later.
cyrusbryan the good news: skype voicemail works. bad news: I have no idea who Abdul from Algeria is at all.
